Pic of the Day

Many thanks to reader Joshua C. who sent us this picture of a cutthroat he caught during a trip the Black Canyon of the Yellowstone in late July.  Here is the story in his own words: I didn’t realize its size at first.  It didn’t seem to know it was hooked.  Then I felt its […]

Taken yesterday around Bozeman.

Reader Craig S. from Michigan was in the neighborhood recently and sent over some nice pics of the upper Gallatin and had this to say…. The Park section of the Gallatin tends to be a bit crowded right now so a friend and I hiked upstream via the Bighorn Pass trail last week to access […]

Sunset from the heart of Montana State University last evening – looking north down 11th Avenue.

Picked up the one who must be obeyed from work late yesterday afternoon and caught what I hope will be the last valley snow storm of the season blowing in from the west and crossing the Bridgers……

Couple of pics of the neighborhood from an East Gallatin scouting mission yesterday.  The Bridgers above and a view south / southwest toward the Gallatins and Spanish Peaks.

This evening’s late sun.  And the people did smile.

Seen on Main Street in downtown Bozeman yesterday…..

Took a quick Easter day drive in the Bridgers today waiting for a couple of lunch items to finish cooking; bright sun and lots of snow around.  Did a little scouting on some of our smaller, out of the way waters – muddy today.

Clearing after the rain – looking west from higway 84 between the Lower Madison and Bozeman on the way home yesterday evening.
