Dammit, forget to put this up earlier in the week. There’s still time to save a nickel (probably quite a bit more) and support the MRF.
Orvis is rolling out their Down the Hatch Film Festival 8 October in Atlanta (Terminal West within the King Plow Arts Center); portion of proceeds to benefit Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. Here’s where it gets interesting: Pre-purchased ticket-holders score a $25 Orvis gift card (not a bad return on a $20 ticket); pre-party 6:30-7:30 free food and […]

Lots of friends in the northern tier of the country, east and west, have looked over the forecasts for a tough, cold winter and had a shiver of damn-well-less-than-enthused anticipation. We agree with those who argue that incentives are important in life; here’s an incentive to plow through the winter and make it through to […]
Details of today’s schedule here. Dang it, forgot to put this one up earlier this week – there’s still time to get in on some of the activities…
Damn there’s a lot of interesting stuff going on around the neighborhood(s) in September. Late September on the Missouri can be a magical time and you can even swing into HH for some free grub, free beer (always list the important stuff first), tunes and swag on the afternoon of the 21st. And what do […]

Get out of the heat, fuel those dreams about chasing chrome during a BC winter (Low and Clear), […]
Denver Trout Unlimited’s rather ingenious Carp Slam 8 is this Saturday the 6th. The competitor’s field has long been filled but you can still make the (infamous) afterparty and contribute to a most worthy cause. There will be pretty damned fancy eats, upslope beer, the promise of ‘fine wines’, live music with Tommy Price and […]

A party on the porch. A 5-K run for the adventurous. Beer from Avondale Brewing Company and other mind-boggling nourishment from Saw’s Street Kitchen. Benefitting a good cause. More BWRK here.
We’re a little late to the ‘heads up’ party on this one, but bet ya there might be a chance to squeeze in for some of it today. And put it on the calendar for next year.
It’s once again time for the big kids to come in and put the Lower Madison house back in order.
