We’ve had a fairly interesting run around our camp of late, with both the Mrs. and I contracting breakthrough ‘Coof (COVID-19 Delta variant if translation is needed) cases that have been a damned nuisance for the better part of two weeks now.
As with almost all viral URI syndromes, we both had a very transient loss of smell and subsequently taste early on, but have also experienced an unusual, and profound, loss of appetite during the run. That being the case, we haven’t done a hell of a lot of cooking lately and will be back to regular programing Friday Feast-wise by next week.
Addendum – if you’re like us, you’re on beyond tired of hearing and reading about the ‘Coof and all the societal-political gamesmanship surrounding it; that said, I’ll be posting a bit more commentary about our experience over on the Older Bolder Life next week…
