The Cobble Pot at Arndilly on the River Spey

A close look at this classic salmon pool on the Arndilly beat on the fabulous River Spey in Scotland. A lovely 12lb summer salmon is landed from the pool and puts up a hard fight before being netted by Arndilly Ghillie Keith McLaren. As an avid salmon fisher the opportunity to fish this prime Spey beat does not come along often, so to get a come of days here was a dream come true and the 12lber from the Cobble Pot was the icing on the cake!
