This is a big week coming up for Montana’s beloved Madison River, and for those who frequent her hallowed waters for work and play.
On the 20th (Tuesday upcoming) Montana FWP will hold a digital public hearing via ZOOM for all interested; the meeting will of course focus on the proposed administrative rules and the EA regarding the recreation management plan on the Madison.
All of the pertinent documents (as listed in the above image) are available here, and there’s a mechanism to provide comment directly to FWP from that page for those inclined to do so. There’s a lot at stake regardless of where you might sit on the volatile issues brewing now for several years over best management of the river…
