While the call by some to take down every freakin’ dam in the world is obviously pure insanity for a host of reasons, there’s a growing base of solid evidence that the Lower Snake dams should come down.
The Science of Dam Removal on the Lower Snake River from TU does a reasonably fair job of covering many of the issues at hand in the Snake River discussion, though they do themselves a disservice by not addressing other impacts of taking the dams out (the ag and dismal science aspects, among others).
