Via the Times-Picayune here, there’s a 15+ foot, 2,078 pound great white shark (a female named Unama’ki) cruising of late off the Louisiana coast. We have a buddy who runs offshore not too far from her last position (weather and water conditions allowing) now and again in an ancient 13.5 foot Boston Whaler skiff – he might need a bigger boat.
