There’s an interesting read over on the Wild Steelhead Coalition blog – The Clearwater Closure: A New Direction is Needed for Snake River Steelhead – posted a few weeks back. Wether you agree or disagree with all the tenets of their argument, what’s painfully clear is that management of steelhead in the PNW (Idaho of course included in the steelhead discussion) simply isn’t working.
