A friend recently spent a glorious week and a few days in and around New Orleans and the LA coast, chasing big redfish, fishing a bit offshore, and even getting some work done. He and his lovely wife are both foodies, and reveled in the amazing offerings NOLA brings to the table (literally and metaphorically) – he insisted that one of their best meals this trip was at Cochon.
In particular he said their spin the muffuletta was the best he’d ever had, and after a bit of digging around, sure enough Garden and Gun featured that very creation a few years back in a recipe post. That’s their image above and the full recipe is of course available at the link.
