Getting lost in the woods searching for small trout is chaotic yet so beautiful. The creatures we find, the colors we see and the noises we hear. Good friend Chris Barclay and I ventured into one of our favorite stretches of water before the fall spawn. The higher the elevation the more colors we found. Our day ended once we saw our first sighting of brooke trout pairing up. A perfect ending.
