It’s been a crazy, somewhat disruptive week around our camp lately, leading to another Friday Feast post linked to some great food from an “outside” kitchen. I’ve been helping open a new Cajun restaurant in our little burg north of the metro here, making a damn good gumbo recipe (in amazingly large batches) nearly every day, an experience I’ll share more about later.
And when this Duck and Andouille Gumbo popped up in Garden and Gun’s feed on Wednesday, I have to admit it kinda made my mouth water, as good andouille brings flavor magic to any dish, and creative gumbos are a wonderful tool to show off that fact.
