More often than not it seems the first burst of winter weather generates headlines, even in the Northern Rockies. Our former neighbors in the Flathead country are staring a genuine winter storm in the face this morning, and it’s even snowing in Livingston early this morning as Jake rounds up gear to head out for what will likely a chilly and wet hunt “down south” in Wyoming this week. There’ll be plenty of delightful October weather ahead, but we’ve all just been reminded that winter is on the horizon…
