Back a couple of months ago I was approached with an offer to test one of the products from up and coming company Bevanda, a small, Pennsylvania-based company crafting some nifty insulated bottles and tumblers.
The bottles are doubled-walled, lead free 18/8 stainless steel, with a larger-sized opening/bottle neck allowing big-assed ice cubes to be loaded with ease. The bottles sent have a very nice, easy to grip powder coated surface, solid-as-a-rock, tight sealing lids, and they also provided a second lid and straw set with a very interesting carabiner-like clip designed in.
Testing in both work and play, my lovely wife and I have found the 40-ounce bottle keeps our morning iced coffee icy all day – I’ve been dumping ice out of it at night before hand washing consistently.
These look very well designed, and while the 40-ounce bottles aren’t currently available on their website at the link above, they have an impressive array of different sizes and styles available, in a plethora of nice colors as well.
The bottles we’ve tested unquestionably go toe to toe with the gear from you-know-who without the guilt-inducing price point.
We have a brand-spanking new white 40-ounce bottle with the additional lid and straw sitting on my desk ready to go; if you’re looking for a new, large bottle to hydrate with in style, fire an email here with Bevanda in the subject line. We’ll draw and ship this one on the 13 of September; it’ll still be cold coffee season.
Contest closed: Jimmy K in St. George (Utah) won the drawing.
Cheers.
