This week’s Friday Feast recipe posted over on the Older Bolder Life – Sweet Potato Hashbrown Cheeseburger Pie – is one that I crafted with a friend originally for a backyard party she and her daughter were hosting a few weeks back.
Kinda’ve a cross between a deconstructed cheeseburger and a sweet potato hashbrown crusted pizza, this ain’t your typical backyard plain-Jane, homespun cheeseburger, and my lovely wife thinks it’s probably the best burger variation we’ve ever stumbled across dating back to sometime around when the lightbulb was invented.
It comes together pretty quickly and is damned tasty.
By the way, I posted two amazing sauces over there this week as well, this Easy Romesco Sauce (where has this one been all our lives?) and Libby’s Verde Cashew Wonder Sauce (add the peppers for this one).
Cheers.
