For those of us among our Chi Wulff brethren who follow the ecclesiastical calendar, we’re now just over a week out from the Easter weekend, which for those of you raised in the South as I was, probably meant ham or lamb was on the menu for that holiday shindig.
Around my house growing up, Easter weekend almost always brought out the tried and true ham recipes; as my lovely wife and I have raised our own clan over the years, we gravitated toward some version of a nice leg of lamb or lamb shoulder, and in fact probably more often than not recently have done this one – our Southwestern Grilled Leg of Lamb, though that recipe just as often ended up in tacos and topping tostadas as anything else.
Over on the Older Bolder Life I’ve list out a nifty dozen lamb and ham recipes for your perusal; the Honey Thyme ham is amazing, and I’ve been itching to rustle up another one of those spicy tamarind and honey glazed hams too..
Enjoy.
