Sadly it’s come to my attention this afternoon that allegations have been made of more personal threats toward a member of the Madison River Foundation team.
I’ve been working all day and have had neither the time nor inclination to attempt to validate these allegations, though I agree they’re serious and reprehensible if true, and worthy of the law enforcement attention and investigation that’s reportedly been triggered.
If these allegations are true, the malicious dumbass that’s responsible is only causing harm to the entire process, fueling a fire that shouldn’t even be smoldering at this point, and only making rational resolution more difficult.
I for one would hope that cooler heads – on all sides of the issues at hand – prevail. It’s time for the big kids to sit down, have a beer, and make peace; no party involved in this dance is blameless.
