Our South Texas compadre, EH, just came back from a tour of Ireland with his lovely wife. One of his stops was the the Vintage Cocktail Club in Dublin (the image above is a montage of pics from their site at the link).
EH raved about the vibe at the establishment, and opined the craft cocktails there were some of the finest, most meticulously constructed he’d ever seen, and he went on and on about their Vintage Coffee Cocktail, though was unable to talk any staff out of their recipe.
After a bit a research, he found the very recipe here on Bon Appetit’s site; while EH notes that “making the Guinness reduction is a bit fussy” it’s well worth the effort. In full disclosure, we haven’t done so yet, but EH promises this one is something special.
‘Nuff said.
