The Madison River is one of Montana’s finest waterways and is at the heart of current ecological debate. As Montana’s population continues to grow, social stigmas and discussions of its overuse have brought about colliding opinions on how to manage our natural resources. From economic commercial dependability to the non-commercial user experience, growth catalyzes the need for change and reform. Where and how do we place limitations to effectively maintain and protect our resources?
