Chef Libby in Austin fired over one more coffee-based cocktail that’s come across her radar of late – The Roman Holiday.

Apparently a client hosting a catered event insisted these be on the menu and Libby’s bartender working that day, having spent time in Chicago, remembered the cocktail from Cindy’s there. She apparently describes it as a ‘caffeinated Italian cousin of Tiki’.

Libby insisted this one was worth sharing for the coffee enthusiasts out there.

‘Nuff said, and thanks Libby!

1 ounce cold brew coffee
1 ounce Amaro Meletti
3/4 ounce lime juice
3/4 ounce pineapple juice
1/4 ounce Campari liqueur
1/4 ounce Demerara syrup
1 pinch sea salt

Garnish: Cinnamon stick

This one couldn’t be easier. Dump everything into your trusty shaker with ice and shake, shake, shake. Strain into a (double rocks) glass over ice, garnish, and go to it.

Enjoy.
