There’s a nice op-ed that’s been circulating through the Montana newspaper sites over the past week or so, reminding We the People and our elected officials that it’s damn well time to pass the Yellowstone Gateway Protection Act through congress. From the article –

…The Yellowstone Gateway Protection Act is an extremely popular bipartisan solution to protect Paradise Valley, the Upper Yellowstone Watershed, and Yellowstone National Park from the threat of large-scale gold mining on our public lands. Local Montanans from all sides of the political aisle support the legislation. It is also 100 percent consistent with efforts by the Trump administration and Secretary of Interior Ryan Zinke to protect our watershed and public lands…

Well worth a read, and nudging your Congress-critter to pass regardless of what locale you may call home.
