Here’s another nifty piece out of the Missoulian (who has been knocking it out of the park lately with some very good, well balanced, objective outdoor articles of late) covering a collaborative effort to open up public access to 26 thousand acres of land in the Dearborn drainage, one of the prettiest and most under-appreciated tribs of the beloved Missouri.

Kudos to the landowners, the Barretts, the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, and the various agencies involved for working a deal to get this done.

Ironically, haven’t seen mention of this story by the legacy advocacy groups who claim to be leading the charge on access issues.
