The Western Governors’ Association has released their 2018 report on Invasive Species; those who enjoy recreating in the West (be it on land or water) will find the terrestrial and aquatic lists of interest. The Nature Conservancy estimates that up to $120 billion is spent annually combating invasives; it doesn’t take a very fertile imagination to conjure up better ways to invest that cash in the great outdoors – so it’s worth the time to learn a bit about the battle and do what you can.
