A couple of days ago an email popped up from Kacey in NOLA, thanking us for our support over the years of the fine folks at Zatarain’s, and suggesting we take a look at this Fully Loaded Cajun Bloody Mary (she’d seen our posting of this Blue Smoke Bloody Mary).
Kacey happens to supervise a busy PR program for Zatarain’s and is also sending over some goodies for us to add to the giveaway stack – stayed tuned.
Thanks Kacey, both for the recipe and the goodies; fly fisher folks all across the country will soon be stirring this one together…
4 cups chilled tomato juice
1 cup chilled vodka
1/4 cup prepared horseradish, such as Zatarain’s®, drained
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 to 2 teaspoons Zatarain’s® Cajun Hot Sauce
1 teaspoon ZATARAIN’S® Creole Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon celery saltGarnish
6 pickled okra
6 cocktail olives, such as Zatarain’s®
6 cooked jumbo shrimp
6 crisply cooked bacon
6 celery stalks, with leaves attached
6 lemon wedges
Stir the first 8 ingredients together in a large pitcher; pour into 6 ice-filled glasses.
Onto six skewers thread (1 of the following on each) the pickled okra, olives, and shrimp. Place a loaded skewer onto the top of each glass along with a slice of bacon, a celery stalk, and a lemon wedge.
Enjoy.
