Back a couple of weeks ago I posted the first of several giveaways of Waterford Press’ laminated guides to gamefish (their Saltwater Game Fish guide); it shipped this morning to Virginia.
Mike Onorato and Waterford Press were most kind to send over this guide – Trout and Salmon of North America – in the bundle for us to play with, learn from, and give away.
Perfect for the beginning fly fisher, or someone who’s been chasing warm water or salt critters for years, but not spent much time in the trout and salmon world. Learning about the various species available to anglers would have been a far sight easier years ago if Waterford Press’ laminated, folding, pocket guides were available as they are today. They’re brightly colored, sturdily constructed, pocket (or gear bag) size, laminated guides that read easily and are packed with information (both sides are printed).
And the artwork is topnotch. See it on Waterford’s site here; they have an unbelievable array of different pocket guides available, most under ten bucks.
