Rainy River Ice Fog and Hoarfrost – Time Lapse and Still Photography from Lauri Kangas on Vimeo.

The Rainy River never completely freezes due to the constant motion caused by the current. During periods of extreme cold weather an ice fog can form over the warmer open water which eventually blankets everything with hoarfrost resulting in a stunning winter wonderland. Time lapse and still photography utilizing an assortment of cameras, lenses and techniques. © 2018 – Lauri A. Kangas
