Kudos to the Henry’s Fork Foundation and their Senior Scientist / Research and Restoration Director Rob Van Kirk for digging deep into the hard data in reporting a few days ago on the HF water supply (through January). Bottom line – SWE in the HF snowpack increased to 96% of average, and streamflow throughout the watershed was for the most part above average, with outflows from Island Park running at 134% of average, the best since the winter of 2011-12.
Keep doing your snow dance.
