Happened to catch this interesting read hot off the press yesterday – Hal Herring’s Marsh Madness: The Anglers’ Proposal to Restore the Everglades – posted over at Field and Stream.
This saga won’t go away, and seems particularly fascinating as a) the problem was identified decades ago, b) multiple solutions have been proposed along the way, and c) (at least from where this outsider sits) the “Big Sugar Daddies” don’t want to contribute land, water, and the necessary effort repair flows into the Everglades.
