Savor it here.

Long-time friends of Chi Wulff have heard it many times, but it’s worth repeating – SCOF remains ensconced at the pinnacle of the digital heap of fly fishing mags (and with anything in print for that matter).

Pithy, gritty, and brutally honest aren’t descriptors of a lot of fly fishing prose these days, yet the SCOF boys pull it off again, while at the same time serving up a heaping helping of (at times self-depreciating) humor, captivating imagery, and “dammit I wish I’da been there stories“. There’s even fine piece of work on how to deal with a complaint letter (and DG is still on the right side of the fence on the issue).

Well played.
