When the magnitude of flooding in the Houston/Southeast Texas region, and its persistence, became more widely known, Orvis stepped up big time in leading the charge to get waders in the hands of first responders down there, donating $30K of new waders and helping stores across the country round up donations from customers interesting in helping with gear contributions.
Great idea in getting other area retailers, like the Bayou City Angler, involved too.
