SIFF is simply an acronym for Surf and Inshore Fly Fishing, but it has come to represent an endless, at times fanatical, solo pursuit to capture how time on the water feels in the mind’s eye. The SIFF projects will end when time dictates, but until then fishing, filming, and sharing will continue.
This project covers four years of fishing and filming the Northeast US for striped bass and false albacore from SUPs, ladders, and by foot.
What had been an annual production of each year’s adventures has, through life’s twists and turns, become something bigger. Editing is in the final stretch, and with just one more Fall to capture, the end is near.
