A couple of fly fishing gear and clothing purveyors stepped up yesterday and launched special programs to aid those who have been and still are being pummeled by the lasting effects of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.

…Howler Brothers, Texas-based in Austin, has launched their Howler for Harvey shirt with again 100% of the proceeds going to relief efforts.
We have friends and family down there, and have heard first hand the almost unbelievable tales of inundation and damage. A fly fishing guide buddy has joined the Cajun Navy and been rescuing humans and pets nonstop since Saturday as long as there’s light in the sky.
