Kudos are due the state of Louisiana this month for their State House approving (back on the 2nd) the 2017 rewrite of Louisiana’s $50 billion | 50 year plan for coastal restoration.

Louisiana is a fascinating state, blessed not only with a flourishing outdoor recreation industry (focusing around fishing and bird hunting), a mind-bogglingly diverse and robust seafood industry, and also a thriving, and critical to the nation’s health, natural resource extraction industry.

And some of the best redfish on the fly fishing to be done in the country anywhere.

The map above was cut this morning from Louisiana’s Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority site here; the interactive map details the literally hundreds of projects in play currently across the delta and state.

You have to like Louisiana telling Trump and his boys to get it in gear and speed permitting to get these projects done pronto last Friday.

Git ‘er done.
