If you’re fond of throwing big, hairy bugs and poppers at hungry bass, you’ll be interested in the Bass on the Fly event coming up this Saturday at the Orvis Plano. Casting demonstrations outside from 11-1 featuring three of the region’s top guides, followed by AV presentations starting at 1:30.
They’re also raising money for Reel Recovery during the event; there are a slew of prizes to be given away through the day – a donation of just $10 to Reel Recovery makes you eligible for all the prize drawings (not required for the rod giveaway).
Free beer from Tupps Brewery and hors-d’oeuvres (Central Market) and a drawing for an Orvis rod will end the day.
