The good folks at the Utah Stream Access Coalition have just announced (yesterday) that the Utah Supreme Court will hear oral arguments for both of their pending access cases – the Provo Public Waters and the Weber Navigability cases – back to back on 9 January 2017.
The proceedings start at 930 and 1015 respectively at the Matheson Courthouse in SLC; a strong show of support in the peanut gallery would be damned useful for those who can wiggle out of work (or play) and get there.
This is big kid stuff – those attending should dress and comport themselves accordingly – no waders or fly encrusted fishing hats – and it’s not a rally / protest event so hold the signs and witty commentary for the after party.
