From new friend of Chi Wulff Anne in Driggs…

…love the food and drink recipes you guys have posted over the years.

It would be a break from your routine I know, but now and then you should post something like this Cranberry Apple Cider Punch that’s family friendly and perfect for entertaining those pesky relatives you keep mentioning.

We’re entertaining family this year for Thanksgiving and will have 22 kids in the house for dinner that day; I’ll be drinking one of your recipes, but the kids will have a triple recipe of this to sip on all day and stay out of my kitchen.

And I get the family thing. I love my brother in law to death, but his wife is an absolute horror. The only way we can shake her off is to pack up and go to elk camp on Black Friday. She’ll fly back to Pensacola (on her broom) the morning we’re headed to Montana to close the general rifle season up there and spend some time with happy B-I-L…

Anne, appreciate the family friendly recipe and believe me, we get it. Good hunting.

4 cups apple cider, chilled
2 cups cranberry juice cocktail, chilled
2 cups ginger ale, chilled
1 can (12oz.) frozen orange juice concentrate

Garnishes: Apple slices, orange slices, cranberries, rosemary sprigs

Combine the cider, cranberry juice and orange juice concentrate in a gallon container; chill until just before serving.

At serving time, add the chilled ginger ale, garnish and pour.

Enjoy.
