Kudos to USAC for nearing the 5000 Member Mark

From a handful of concerned anglers the Utah Stream Access Coalition has grown to very nearly 5000 members, proof once again that a hard-working, highly motivated group of folks can still get things done for the greater good.

To celebrate, USAC (along with Fish Tech Outfitters and Sage) will be giving away a brand-spanking new Sage X to the 5000th member.

New members can sign up here, and oh yea, it’s free to join.

Utah Supreme Court Stream Access Appeals Update

Briefings have been completed in the Weber Case and they’re in the final exchange of briefs stage in the Provo Case. Oral arguments are anticipated early Q1.2017 with final rulings to follow in late Q1 or Q2.2017.

It’s not an inexpensive process and these cases will (continue to) have national significance; donations supporting the efforts are always welcomed.

USAC 2016 Voters’ Guide for Utah

While there are definite perils of voting a single issue in this day and age (more to come on this very point from a guest author shortly in fact), USAC has once again done a fine job in preparing their 2016 Utah Voters’ Guide looking in critical detail at local reps’ stand with regard to stream access.
