She Who Must Be Obeyed and I have the good fortune to be back home in Montana for a bit; we made the run up earlier this week and stopped over in Laramie on the way up (great little college town by the way).
We needed to get out and stretch for dinner so we walked down to a little hole in the wall place we’d passed on the way in for a salad; the food was good but the highlight of the night was our coed waitress’ recommendation to try the drink special for the night – The Matador.
With a house made lime cordial and good tequila, the Matadors we enjoyed that night put a whole new spin on what had been a great day already. If you don’t have a homemade lime cordial recipe tucked away, search around a bit – it’s as easy as can be – here’s the one we use.
I don’t know about how things work in your travel world, but any day headed back to the Northern Rockies is a damned good one in our book.
Cheers.
