McGlothlin_NFBBJun15_V1Our clan was pre-occupied this last weekend with the wedding of Jake and Kaitlyn — Livingston is the scene of the party. And the past few weeks I’ve been running around chasing projects and trying to surface from a quagmire of paperwork.

But, finally, here’s a bit of unorthodox early summer Montana fishing.

I was able to escape with old friends Jake Gates and his dog Marley — a Border Collie who was once a stray on the Missouri and now has small notoriety in the fly-fishing industry — and new friend Graham for a day of chill fishing.

We chased carp, trout, and plenty of sunshine… a good way to kick off the season!
