Working for a creative team like I do now is a very different environment than a retail fly shop. It gives us the chance to work with some pretty incredible people doing pretty incredible things. One of the projects that Seacat Creative has been working on for a good portion of the past year has been a film about a local non-profit group focused on helping veterans: Heroes and Horses.
This group uses the wilderness, horses, and the challenges associated with those two things in such a way to help struggling veterans. The team at work was tasked with creating a video showing who these people are and what they can do. The following video is a bit long, but well worth your time.
The outdoors – whether fly fishing related or not – has long been known to have the capacity to heal. It doesn’t matter what you might be suffering from, getting outside is a good start.
