Almost every time I check the stomach contents of a big spotted sea trout I find the remains of a lizard fish. I’m going to tie a pattern like this this season and create a 5-to 6-inch lizard fish fly that I can only imagine will get clobbered by a big gator trout. I’ll need to get in down in the water column about 3-to 4-feet or so I will weight the fly and use a sinking line.
