Probably the nicest guy we met during our stay in Alabama was Walter D, a new friend of Chi Wulff who fishes Montana a fair bit (part time resident of the Madison Valley). He sent this pic over a couple of days ago – this was his first fish, and best of the trip – during their recent excursion up to chase runners out of Hebgen. Chalk up another win for the fall season in Montana.
Sometimes that first one really is the sweetest.
