Alan over at Growler Fills | Craft Beer Enthusiasm out of Missoula recently published the only up to date (that we’ve seen) directory / list of regional brewers cranking out Fresh Hop Ales here at the end of hop harvest season.
Montana has been home to small scale hops production for years, though that’s changed with a more serious entry into the game – Glacier Hops Ranch south of Whitefish.
These are obviously seasonals and won’t be around forever; there’s still time to incorporate a brewery visit into that next river run itinerary.
