The good gang over at the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership has asked me to be the guest judge for the fishing section of their #PublicLandsProud photo contest.

Entering is pretty simple: now through September 8th, follow @thetrcp on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook and share your photos with the #PublicLandsProud hashtag.

I’ll be judging the fishing group, which runs August 26 – September 20th. The category winner takes home a rockin’ pair of Costa sunglasses, and later this fall one grand prize winner will be awarded a custom Yeti Tundra 45 cooler loaded with goodies.

The simple ability to go out and get lost in the outdoors is one of the best things for the soul. It tends to put everything in perspective. And the fact we have really accessible public lands is, really, pretty awesome. Help us celebrate them!
