After weeks of preparation, we headed down to Edisto Island to venture out of our comfort zone and go into a completely new area and try to find and catch fish. While poling flats, chasing fish, we came across some shutoff creeks that held water on low tide. So we threw on our tennis shoes, hopped out of the boat, grabbed the fly rods and some flies and trenched through the famous South Carolina plouffe mud, that we love so much to get to the fish… and then the show began! Just a little taste of the action we had.
