Five years of planning, negotiation and finally ‘boots on the ground’ work has so far gone into the Beaverhead Watershed Committee’s Poindexter Slough Fishery Enhancement project; you can help push them over the top and get it finished this year via their upcoming fundraiser on the 25th.
This is one of the great stories of varied partners working together to accomplish meaningful improvements in a small yet important section of Montana’s storied waterways.
Kudos to the BWC, involved landowners, Montana FWP, the Dillon Canal Company and others who have contributed to turning Poindexter Slough around.
