And the summer cocktail, punch and other adult beverage recipes keep rolling in, here’s another tasty suggestion from Brandy in San Antonio.
…Our women’s fly fishing group goes at least once a month to chase redfish around Rockport (ed. – damn, that sounds fun). We rent a beach house down there and have one big catered dinner and do the rest of our meals on our own.
One trip last summer the bartender that came with our caterer was a stunningly beautiful young women named Luciana who served us this amazing Watermelon Sangria. I begged her for a downsized recipe (this makes 6ish drinks) and this is what she gave me.
This has become one of my go to recipes for summer entertaining and is always a hit; thought you guys might like this one…
Thanks Brandy, we’ll be thinking of redfish on the Texas flats and Luciana every time we stir up a batch. Cheers, and we’ll see you on those flats one of these days.
