A tremendous piece popped up yesterday over on WyoFile – Selling a Birthright: What would the West be like without its federal lands? It’s written by Chris Madsen, a well-spoken gentlemen who’s work we’ve read off and on for years when he was with Wyoming Wildlife.

If you only read one thing covering the public lands storm brewing these days for the entire week – make it this article.

(Only one quibble that I’ve seen on the first read – Montana’s Gov. Bullock vetoed the bill authorizing a committee be formed to study the transfer issues in Montana.)

Pour another cup of coffee or open a cold one, this one will take a minute or two.
