For those in the neighborhood, I’ll be giving a presentation tomorrow morning (1030 start) at the Orvis store in Birmingham covering five of Montana’s (one in YNP) spring hatches that should be on your bucket list. I’m not the best storyteller in the world, though the glory of a Montana spring is something to behold with a fly rod in your hand.
(Astute fishers will note the image above is a caddis fly frenzy, this one on the Missouri under the Wolf Creek bridge, which is not a spring hatch though it makes one hell of a picture.)
