Rainbow trout lead complex lives. Some are born and choose to stay in their home stream, some choose to migrate to the ocean and return as steelhead. This video illustrates the generational differences between these two life stages. Some have suggested that the larger fish is a post spawn steelhead, some venture to say the fish is a resident rainbow. Everyone agrees that these remarkable fish continue to leave us with more questions than answers.What do you think?… and did you spot the cutthroat?
