Like big redfish? And flies that catch big redfish?
The Cenla (Central LA) Fly Fishing Festival is coming up this Saturday in Pineville, LA (outside of Alexandria). According to new redfish guru friends we’ve made on the coast there will be a damned impressive group of tiers at the event.
There’s always treasure to be found at regional fly fishing gatherings (one professional tier friend says the best stuff he’s ever learned he picked up at the smallest shows). Guys living on the coast in Louisiana and tying flies for redfish down there know how to get it done.
